Tomoko Kanamitsu is a designer, curator and writer. She holds a BA from the University of California Berkeley and an MA from Columbia University’s Modern Art History: Critical and Curatorial Studies (MODA) program. She recently co-curated the exhibition Common Love: Aesthetics of Becoming at the Wallach Art Gallery. At Columbia she also co-organized the conversation series Curating Time, which invited contemporary curators to address the challenges of presenting time-based media. She has worked on numerous interactive and visual design projects from video games to websites and mobile applications.
